Cloud Platform Architect

PSI has embarked on a Cloud & SaaS transformation, choosing Google Cloud as our strategic partner.

We are building a modern GCP platform that will serve as the foundation for our SaaS solutions and open a new ecosystem for innovation in industrial AI.

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Architect to join our team and take a leading role in designing and developing the foundations of our GCP platform.

Your responsibilities

• Co-create the strategy and architecture of the GCP platform with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Design and document core platform components (VPC, IAM, Compute, GKE, Storage, BigQuery) and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).
• Build and manage environments (dev, staging, prod) ensuring proper isolation and resource allocation.
• Define and enforce standards for security, monitoring, logging, and configuration.
• Automate platform processes (Terraform, scripts, GCP services) and implement best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and communicate architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support incident management processes.
• Evaluate new GCP services and recommend their adoption.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and management.
• Strong expertise in GCP services (GKE, Compute, VPC, IAM, Monitoring).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and automation (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and cloud security practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
• Team-oriented, reliable, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.
