Verifying the correct operation of software by conducting functionality tests
Designing new test scenarios in line with expected system functionalities and business needs
Executing test scenarios according to the established test schedule
Analyzing the results and metrics of conducted tests
Reporting new bugs (in accordance with the project process), tracking their processing, retesting functionalities after the corrected source code is delivered, and closing the bug after the process is completed
Actively participating in scheduled meetings, particularly team meetings within the project
Active communication with all stakeholders during the process of preparing and executing test scenarios to efficiently deliver a high-quality product
Must have:
Deep knowledge of topics like: testing best practices, software quality, testing process, type of tests, product lifecycle and bug reporting
Commercial experience in Playwright or Cypress.
Ability to design and develop automated test scripts (both UI and API) using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or others.
Experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, or other BDD testing tools.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Knowledge of programming languages (Python or JavaScript).
Knowledge of GIT version control system allowing to use it freely.
Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, or similar).
Practical knowledge of technologies used in web applications i.e. (HTML, HTTP, REST API).
Knowledge of SQL.
Ability to collaborate with frontend and product teams to maintain automation scripts, understand business logic, and develop BDD user stories with acceptance criteria.
Analytical thinking.
Good knowledge of English (min. B2).
Great communication skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of mocking objects for testing.
Knowledge of Page Object Patterns.
Commercial experience in performance tests (JMeter, Locust).
Commercial experience in API tests (Postman, Tavern, or similar).
Own GitHub repository with some code to share.
Familiarity with Docker.
