Back-End Developer

What You Will Do 

• Execute full lifecycle software development for new features and enhancements.

• Maintain and support the software in production.

• Collaborate with the product owner and other team members in order to provide suitable software solutions to requirements.

• Ship high-quality, thoroughly reviewed code on time.

• Actively participate in regular Scrum ceremonies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Have on-call responsibilities.

What You Bring 

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field with 5+ years of back-end development experience in microservice architecture using Java 17+. Experience with Quarkus & Kafka is a plus.

• Database knowledge using SQL, MySQL and tools like Liquibase.

• CI/CD knowhow with tools like GitLab CI.

• Strong work-ethic, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with good analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong sense of quality through integration tests and unit tests.

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

• You will get extra points for DevOps skills (OpenShift, Maven, Docker, Helm) or Frontend know-how (Vue.js, Typescript).
