Our client, the EU Agency eu-LISA, is currently recruiting for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer in Strasbourg, France, working onsite.

eu-LISA supports the implementation of the EU’s Justice and Home Affairs policies by managing large-scale IT systems.

The position is located in Strasbourg, France. Relocation is required.
About the Job
As part of the Technology and Software Engineering Unit (TSU), you will contribute to the successful technical implementation of the core IT business systems and solutions managed by eu-LISA.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the software systems meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will develop and execute test plans, automate tests, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
The technical stack includes:
API testing (manual and automated)
Microservices architecture with containers
Manual testing tools like SOAP UI, Kreya
Automation tools like Tosca, JMeter/Gatling
Monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK stack
What are Your tasks:
Organise test campaigns, procedures and plan resources for all relevant test levels
Ensure proper reporting and timely planning of testing activities
Coordinate the test design, ensuring full traceability of functional and non-functional requirements
Implement and execute test cases, both manual and automated, ensure proper defect management and perform analysis of test results and respective reporting
Support the Member States on the execution of their test activities and provide training for testers
Maintain test tools set and the alignment between tools and processes
What is required of your profile:
Solid professional experience in software testing and ability to perform the duties in the areas described under “Your tasks”
University degree of at least three years from a EU country
Excellent command of written and spoken English (at least C1 level).
Work experience in Agile practices and Public Cloud technologies, along with an understanding of microservices architecture principles, patterns, and DevSecOps methodologies, will be considered an asset

basic salary, including a 14% cost-of living adjustment for France and a 16% expatriate allowance for non-French nationals living outside of France:
€5,551 (5 years of experience)
€6,280 (5 – 17 years of experience)
€8,040 (more than 17 years of experience)
