About the role:
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will help build a global Azure-based infrastructure supporting a data-driven e-commerce ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and automating scalable cloud solutions across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using Azure (AKS, Databricks, Event Hubs, storage, databases).

• Manage automation, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).

• Ensure high availability, monitoring, and security compliance across environments.

• Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure reviews, connectivity, and role management.

• Optimize infrastructure through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Requirements:

• Proven experience with large-scale Azure deployments across multiple geographies.

• Deep knowledge of Azure services, networking, Active Directory, and microservice deployments (HELM, manifests).

• Strong grasp of monitoring (Log Analytics), security, and environment strategy.

• 7+ years in cloud engineering or a related field; leadership or senior team experience required.

• Solid programming knowledge (Java/Kotlin preferred) and understanding of network protocols.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience setting up infrastructure in China.

• Database administration background and global data handling knowledge (replication, classification).
