🚀 Your Role at Apilia

We’re looking for someone like you to join us in building data-driven solutions for our banking client.

💰 Compensation & Location

• Location: Remote

• Rate: 100–120 PLN/h + VAT (B2B contract)

In this role, you will:

• Develop end-to-end ETL processes using Spark/Scala: transferring data from/to the data lake, performing validations, applying business logic, etc.

• Use Scrum methodology as part of a high-performance development team.

• Document your solutions using tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM.

• Certify your delivery quality by designing and executing relevant tests.

• Work side-by-side with a technical specialist to enhance architecture and implementation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to integrate data from various sources.

• Develop basic web applications using React and NodeJS.

• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

🎯 What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in data/software engineering (preferably in banking).

• Backend development experience with Big Data technologies.

• Experience with React and NodeJS.

• Agile mindset and experience with Scrum methodology.

• Familiarity with CI tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins).

• Knowledge of SQL databases.

• Proficient in English (at least B2+ level).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Jenkins orchestration; GitHub Actions experience is a plus.

• Scala or Python – especially combined with Apache Spark.

• Experience with Qlik.

• Bash scripting skills.

• Familiarity with Control-M, AirFlow.

• Understanding of software development life cycle (HP ALM, etc.).

• Basics of cybersecurity and quality tools (e.g., Sonar).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Azure, AWS, EMR, DataBricks.

• SOA Architecture experience.

• Strong analytical skills.
